COURSE CONTENT
- Writing abstracts of professional and scientific articles in the field of food technology, biotechnology and nutrition
- Reading more complex professional texts in the field of food technology, biotechnology and nutrition in the original English language.
- Analysis of ESP texts and videos in the field of food technology, biotechnology and nutrition in English.
- Translation of more complex ESP texts in the field of food technology, biotechnology and nutrition from English into Croatian - in groups or individually
- Translation of more complex ESP texts in the field of food technology, biotechnology and nutrition from Croatian into English - in groups or individually
- The most common grammatical errors in translating an ESP text - lecture and exercises
- Checking and revising grammar in an ESP text in the field of food technology, biotechnology and nutrition.
- Understanding short films in food technology, biotechnology and nutrition in English
- Discussing film content in English
- Asking and answering questions in English
- Writing a short summary in English

LEARNING OUTCOMES
- expand the ESP vocabulary within the field of study
- translate more complex ESP texts from English to Croatian

To enrol in this course, the following course must be completed:
