  • to explain the mechanism of neuron excitation, sceletal and smooth muscle contraction
  • to describe and explain the structure and mechanism of rhytmic cardiac excitation and contraction
  • to explain the process of urine formation in kidneys and control over osmolarity and volume of body fluids
  • to describe the process of gas exchange in lungs and other tissues
  • to define cerebral cortical functions
  • to describe secretory and absorptive functions of digestive system
  • to explain the role of endocrine glands in maintaining the homeostasis
