Metabolism and role of vitamin K. Survey of ions in human organism. General importance for health. Ion transport. Metabolism of Na+ and K+ ions. Metabolism of Ca2+ and Mg2+ ions. Metabolism of  Zn2+ ions. Metabolism of Fe2+ and Fe3+ ions. Metabolism of other cations. Metabolism of Cl- ions. Metabolism of other anions. Mechanisms for maintenance of ion concentration in the organism.
