Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology acts in the capacity of the coordinator of one of the CEEPUS Networks (CIII-HR-0306) termed For Safe and Healthy Food in Middle Europe

From 2007 on, the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology acts in the capacity of the coordinator of one of the CEEPUS Networks (CIII-HR-0306) termed For Safe and Healthy Food in Middle Europe. The Network was launched as early as in 1997 and was coordinated by the Corvinus University Budapest. Following its reconstruction that took place in 2007, the coordinating function was passed on to our Faculty. Since then, it has embraced 14 collaborating institutions, as follows: University of Zagreb; Universität für Bodenkultur (BOKU), Vienna, Austria; Technische Universität Graz, Austria; Mendel University, Brno, Czech Republic; Institute for Chemical Technology, Prague, Czech Republic; “J. J. Strossmayer” University, Osijek; Corvinus University, Budapest, Hungary; University of Agronomy, Wroclaw, Poland; University of Life Sciences, Warsaw, Poland; “Babes Bolay” University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania; University of Novi Sad, Serbia; University of Ljubljana, Slovenia; University of Agronomy, Nitra, Slovakia, and Technical University Bratislava, Slovakia. Roughly 80% of the foreseen months of exchange are intended for students and the remaining 20% for lecturers. Within 2007-2011 timeframe, the exchange quota allocated to Croatian Network partners spanned from 22-30 months, out of which the FFTB made use of approximately one third of them.
