Food Technology

The study programme is based on recent scientific achievements in the areas of chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology and in production processes aimed at food quality safety.

During their study programme, the students would acquire practical skills, ranging over all the segments touching upon food technology, from storage of raw materials and products, over food preservation and processing to the production of ready-made products, as well as the control and handling of the production processes.

The economy market needs for young skilled professionals, who can follow, within their field of knowledge, the development and advances of technology, are constantly getting greater in public as in private sector. Experts in the areas of food technology find their placements in large food industries, as in small private businesses, in marketing business, etc.
