António Vicente, izvanredni profesor i prodekan Tehničkog fakulteta Sveučilišta Minho u Portugalu. U svojoj znanstvenoj karijeri sudjelovao je u preko 40 nacionalnih i međunaronih znanstvnih projekata, objavio je 310 znanstvenih članaka u internacionalnim časposima, 5 knjiga, 5 patenta i preko 30 poglavlja u međunarnodnim knjigama što mu je donijelo h-indeks 57 (SCI), titulu visoko citiranog istraživača za područje Agrokulturalnih znanosti za 2018., 2019. i 2020. godinu te nagradu za znanstvene zasluge Sveučilišta Minho 2021. godine.

In his scientific career he has been involved in more than 40 national and international projects, published 310 research articles in international journals, 5 books, 5 patents and over 30 book chapters in international books which yield him an h-index of 57 (SCI), the title of Highly Cited Researcher in the area of Agricultural Sciences in 2018, 2019 and 2020, and the Scientific Merit Prize of the University of Minho in 2021.
