Announcement of passing Professor Emeritus Vladimir Mrša, PhD
It is with great sorrow and heartbreak that we announce the passing of our beloved Professor Emeritus Vladimir Mrša, PhD, Secretary General of the Croatian Academy of Technical Sciences and a full member of the Department of Bioprocess Engineering. Prof. Mrša passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Zagreb, at the age of 68.
With his passing, the scientific community has lost a distinguished member, an eminent scientist, an enthusiast for scientific publishing, and an advocate of open science, but above all, a dear friend and colleague. He will forever remain in our hearts, and we will strive to uphold his trust by continuing to pursue excellence in scientific research and the promotion of open science. For his work and contributions, Prof. Emer. Vladimir Mrša, PhD, received numerous scientific and professional awards, recognitions, and honors.
