Quality Assurance

The purpose of the Faculty Quality System is to establish the principles, criteria and methods of quality assurance, according to the Act on Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education, which is based on The Standards and guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area.
The aim of quality assurance is building mechanisms for the promotion of quality and reaching its highest level in educational and scientific activities, as well as administrative activities of the Faculty.
The quality system is based on The Standards and guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) and is in compliance with ISO9001:2015 requirements.
The basic processes of the quality assurance system at the Universtiy of Zagreb[1] are aligned with the process approach:
- Defining the mission and strategy of the quality assurance system
- Determining measurable objectives
- Formulating processes to achieve the objectives, the mission and the strategy
- Performance measurement and analysis
- Taking corrective and preventive actions
- Defining new objectives
