OPIS PREDMETA
Fiziologija mikroorganizama (bakterija i funga) koji posjeduju hidrolitičku i fermentativnu aktivnost, korištenje obnovljivih sirovina i priprema minimalnih hranjivih podloga; odabir novih tipova bioreaktora, koji su prikladni za bioprocese sa (polu-)čvrstim supstratima/sirovinama; odabir metoda za izdvajanje tekuće i (polu-) čvrste faze iz heterogenih sustava i za određivanje ključnih veličina; izolacija i pročišćavanje proizvedene D- i/ili L-mliječne kiseline; primjena integriranih bioprocesa; matematičko modeliranje; korištenje biotehnološki proizvede mliječne kiseline.
