Description:
Statistics is applied in all fields of science. By reducing the technical aspect of statistics and emphasizing its importance in scientific research, this module is adapted for students of Nutrition programme. Students acquire basic knowledge of descriptive statistics, probability, main probability distributions, parameter estimation and hypothesis testing. Data from field research is used in examples and exercises, and students are acquainted with the use of MS Excel in statistical analysis.
