Learning outcomes:
  1. Identify and group the food legislation authorities
  2. Identify the basic legislative acts and their requirements
  3. Describe prerequisites and other mandatory requirements in food production sector
  4. Suggest requirements for monitoring of food quality and food safety
  5. Describe the terms of traceability, recall and withdrawal as well as the rapid alert system
  6. Know the principles of establishing specifications and labelling of food products
  7. Identify and describe special food categories
  8. Define the term of food contact materials and their basic requirements
